Hotel Gran Garbi & Aquasplash - Lloret de Mar

We had a blast at the aqua park with its cool multi-track slides, perfect for racing with our family. The outdoor pool was great for soaking up the sun, and the breakfast was a good spread every morning. It was also nice to be close to the beach.

My wife says the gym was underwhelming compared to expectations.

Having access to the pool was great. Right by iglesia de sant roma and Dona Marinera. We appreciated gran garbi so we would still consider staying here again. Very easy to get from Girona-Costa Brava airport, just 16 miles.

Family will enjoy the water fun

The water park was a highlight for us, it really kept the kids entertained. We had dinner on the big balcony and enjoyed the view with the kids, they were happy and oblivious to our worries.

It wasn't inexpensive but was still reasonable for what we got.

The hotel location, its parking facilities and the outdoor pool are the selling points of this hotel.

There is no satellite tv in the room and only Spanish channels aired

Actually we were located in Gran Garbi Mar despite we booked the room in Gran Garbi Hotel. Each floor in the hotel is covered with terracotta what makes it very noisy - you can hear every step on the corridor as well your neighbors. Additionally cleaning staff was making much noise starting from 8 a.m. Thin walls. Very poor breakfast. Small beds. No hairdryer in the bathroom. Very small swimming pool. No WIFI. There was no "do not disturb sign" to hang outside the door.

The kids had an absolute blast at the water park-definitely the highlight for us! We enjoyed some lekker meals at brekkie. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The pool area was fab and never too crowded, a major win for us with the little ones.

The only downside was that some areas could use a bit of cleaning, especially after the busy times.

The Gran Garbi had its positives and negatives . The rooms were cleaned daily. The food offered a great variety, and there were plenty of options for the whole family. The water park was a hit with the kids, and the pools were clean and enjoyable. Entertainment varied every night. I faced some inconveniences. The staff at the bar were inconsistent with drink service. At one point, I was refused two drinks while others were served multiple. It felt unfair, especially with the kids around. The room was quite small, and I had hoped for a bit more space for our family to relax. Some aspects, like the slush puppys, weren't included in the all-inclusive deal, which became an annoyance since my daughter wanted them every day. Despite these, the overall experience was good, with friendly cleaning staff and many family memories created.

The air conditioning controls are overly complicated!!! The overall cleanliness could use improvement, especially around the pool area!!!

Had a fantastic vacation with friends! We loved the free access to the nearby water park, a blast with its multi-track slide. The outdoor pool area was perfect, and the food was varied and delicious. Breakfast was a highlight, and the private parking was convenient. Definitely recommend checking out the boat experiences they offer.
